August 2015

What a bunch of lazy summer days!

I've had an itch to sew, so I made a dress using left overs:

Summer means less time for myself, and more times hanging out w/ littlies.

Who, why, how, show me.

It can get overwhelming teaching a skill when you're not in the mood,

or in the middle of your own project, but I really try to fit in that quality time and kindle

their interest.

(She made a little pillow and blanket for her doll.)

I also had an order for a box pouch, and I had forgotten how fun they were to make!

More of these will definitely be added to my September sewing list.

Ice Scream

Double scoop. Would you be able to eat an ice cream with a face?

Picking up the needles.

I completed a knitting project! I don't think I've picked up my needles in over a year! It's a summer dress for a toddler, knit bodice with a fabric skirt. Quick and easy.

Fun hem binding:

I forgot how fun knitting was.
